Our restaurant was the first vegetarian to open in Valencia. Founded in 1980, last year we celebrated our 35th anniversary. From the beginning, we have been located in the Barrio del Carmen, one of Valencia’s oldest neighbourhoods which, in recent years, has become highly popular with visitors to city.
Ours is originally a family restaurant run by two brothers: Carlos and Bernado. We come from a culinary tradition represented by our mother who has extensive experience as a cook.
We started out cooking traditional vegetarian food. However, over the years, we have evolved towards a more modern cuisine with oriental, African and latin influences.
In our restaurant we aim to offer the best quality at affordable prices offering a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. To this end the standard menu is complemented with a set menu (at lunchtime on weekdays) with special dishes which change on a daily basis. We also serve a variety of special menus for lunch or dinner on request.
